Job Description

Summary

Manages all customer account related business in order to build and maintain a strong partnership with Rosenboom customers. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing customer orders including order entry and pricing verification; managing customer price list and quarterly index pricing; managing customer account sales forecasting and strategic planning; and managing the Customer Account Management Program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 Communicates directly with customers by telephone or email in order to provide information about purchase orders, deliveries, pricing, and to take orders or to obtain details of complaints;
 Communicates with Rosenboom personnel to resolve problems, expedite work, and provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and department members by telephone, in written format, email, or in person;
 Confers or consults with department heads to secure information on customer required specifications;
 Manages customer orders including order entry and pricing verification;
 Manages customer pricelist and quarterly indexes;
 Manages customer account sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure reliable and dependable sales performance and services rendered;
 Manages customer portals;
 Manages the Quote Entry and Quote Sales Report;
 Manages the Customer Account Management Program;
– Schedules quarterly reviews;
– Develops the sales review presentation;
– Manages customer account performance matrixes including delivery, warranty, and sales programs;
– Completes and communicates meeting notes and task; and,
– Visits customer accounts to foster partnership, establish or expand accounts and/or address problems.
 Keeps records of customer interaction and transaction, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken;
 Refer unsolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation and follows up to ensure the issues are being resolved;
 Practices good work habits including being productive and efficient, being dependable, clean and organized in work area, etc.;
 Is a productive member of his/her department, is responsible in matters of confidentiality and adheres to all Rosenboom policies, including safety requirements/procedures, in order to ensure a safe working environment for all Rosenboom employees; and,
 Habits of good attendance and punctuality are an essential responsibility of all Rosenboom job positions.
