Job Description


Support the assigned departments in such a way that operators can operate and supervisors can supervise efficiently.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, gathering materials, communicating with different departments, anticipating needed materials, and monitoring and distributing job boxes and calibrated gauges.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities[1]:

  • Monitors the work schedules, identifying the next job, and making the appropriate preparations;
  • Identify, print, and organize job packets;
  • Communicates with other departments, including but not limited to scheduling, parts room, production, and manufacturing, on a constant or regular basis;
  • Communicates with material handlers to move material, supplies, and finished product;
  • Remains in constant contact with the supervisor on the status of the next job for each work center;
  • Gathers, delivers, and returns materials, gauges, and job boxes as needed for use in department;
  • Monitors and records the inventory of tooling and gauging in the Gauge Crib;
  • Positively and professionally monitors and responds to employee requests at the Gauge Crib window;
  • Provides a positive customer service experience when interacting with others;
  • Identifies missing and/or damaged tooling and gauging and works with the appropriate departments to remedy the issue;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
  • Is a productive member of his/her workgroup and adheres to all Rosenboom. policies, including safety requirements/procedures, in order to ensure a safe working environment for all Rosenboom employees; and,
  • Habits of good attendance and punctuality are an essential responsibility of all Rosenboom job positions.
